Description by Joe Chen:
Mako Evo is designed to flow through each phase of the corner with plenty of steering. While it has less initial turn-in than Piranha, it transitions to midcorner and finishes with more rotation.

With the side clips installed, Mako Evo should weigh just over 24g. Please make sure that they don’t interfere with the rear suspension. I’ve found that I have to cut 2mm off of both the bottom and inside of each side clip to clear the chassis under roll.

The new wing is based on my first ever design in 2010. The hump drops down in the back so you get the full chord height, but it still picks up the cleaner air farther from the body. It’s molded in 0.5mm for more durability since the lighter versions were creasing and breaking too easily. It also has reinforcement ridges to reduce flapping, giving a more confident feel at high speeds. Don’t be afraid to run it on the lowest cut line, as it grabs plenty of air and generates a good amount of downforce.

The roof remains 0.3mm, and you’ll notice that it’s higher than the lexan versions of Mako. I raised the roofline to match Piranha for two reasons. First of all, it looks cool. Secondly, it adds downforce in the mid-front of the car.

There are also vents in the rear of the car to reduce the “parachute effect” under the body. Please try using thin tape to cover them for different handling characteristics.
